Portfolio & Case Studies

In our portfolio, you can read a short synopsis of most of the websites we have built and/or designed. But we decided to take a few of them and develop in-depth case studies, to more thoroughly explain what each client needed, what the challenges were, and how BoxCrush® met and exceeded those challenges to deliver positive results.

Client needs are different—deciding how large a site should be and what technology and interactive features will enhance a message is complex, and can’t be a one-size-fits-all solution. BoxCrush identifies every facet of your internet strategy—including websites, mobile ads and pay-per-click services, SEO, and more—and then we fill those needs with unique, tailored solutions. We don’t try to put our clients into a one-size-fits-all box. The following case studies prove that.

Overview

USRowing, the governing body for the sport of rowing in the United States, had a Sitefinity website that its leadership wanted to update to the most recent version of Sitefinity. BoxCrush had built USRowing’s existing enterprise-level website and was able to upgrade the website, despite some software compatibility issues.

BACKGROUND

USRowing had been a BoxCrush client for five years. In that time, the organization grew considerably, as did the depth of its website.

CHALLENGE

The client had not opted to upgrade with each iteration of the Sitefinity software, which made upgrading to the latest version (Sitefinity 4.0) impossible. BoxCrush had to devise a solution that would bring the site up-to-date.

SOLUTION

BoxCrush updated the site from Sitefinity version 3.5 to 3.7 then built custom modules that gave the site the same functionality as if it were operating on version 4.0. These custom modules also gave USRowing administration the ability to easily manage their site content. Finally, BoxCrush’s new custom image rotator brought a dynamic element to the homepage.
